In this video, we show you how to draw a nose step by step in pencil. An important thing to consider is that noses don’t really have outlines. To draw them you can represent the 3D shape using shading and light areas. A shadow beneath the nose will also lift it from the face.

Drawing with Constraints Using A Scribble Sketch Technique – Art Kick Sunday

There are lots of different ways you can make your drawings more interesting by applying constraints. In this video, we show a fun scribble sketch technique you can try. Simply create a drawing using purely looping scribbles. There are many other drawing constraints you could try too. We’ll show you a few more ideas in a future video. One of the most well-known drawing/painting constraint was the to use only dots to create a piece of art as the Pointillists did.

Negative Space Drawing Tutorial – Art Kick Sunday

This negative space drawing tutorial shows you what negative space is in relation to art. If you consider both the negative space when you are drawing as well as the actual subject it can make your drawing more accurate. Sometimes it’s easier to see the negative shape and the angle you should be drawing at rather than the subject itself.
