Happy new year and welcome to today’s episode, the first of 2021! Today we are talking about our personal favourite art books… and not just tutorial books, but other inspirational books too. There are lots of obvious ones we could talk about, the Danny Gregory’s and the Austin Kleon’s, but we’re pretty sure that most of you will have heard of those, so we’re going to talk about the less obvious ones.

I started listening to this episode when it came out, paused in the middle and went on about my week, bought and read “Making Comics” by Lynda Barry, came back to the podcast episode today, and realized you’ve mentioned it 🙂
It’s truly a great book to bring fun into the creative process when “projects” start weighing on you.
Thanks for listening Nela. It’s definitely a fun book, especially when you are feeling a bit stuck.
