The January Challenge is free to take part in. Anybody and everybody can sign up to receive the daily challenges by email. Every day for 31 days you will receive simple creative challenges and a vibrant community of participants sharing their work and experiences across social media.

From the website: “At the heart of 64 Million Artists, we think everyone is creative and that we should all have the opportunity to express it regularly. Creativity is already in our lives, sometimes it just needs a little spark to wake it up or a quick reminder that it’s easy to access. That’s why in January, a month notorious for making us feel blue, we set a free and fun creative challenge every day for 31 days. We use a simple process: Do, Think and Share to support people who’d like to express themselves, get a spring in their step, or connect better with themselves and with others.”

For ‘Quick Kick January’ we challenge you to take a daily abstract photo throughout the month of January. “Quick Kicks” are our monthly creative challenges that you can complete in 15 minutes or less per day.
Aqua January – Daily Watercolor Painting Challenge
We challenge you to create a piece of work using watercolour every day throughout the month of January. You can use just watercolour alone, or you can use any other water-soluble media if you prefer.
Kick 365 – 365 Day Sketching Challenge
For this sketch challenge, we are challenging you to create a daily sketch for 365 consecutive days.Not for the faint hearted! This challenge takes real commitment, but just imagine how many sketchbooks you could fill in a year
